Hi, my name is Stephanie Karoutsos and I am a section editor for reviews here at North. This year I am a senior and this is my second year in North Pointe. I play varsity field hockey and tennis and I am a part of NHS and Link Crew. In my free time I enjoy getting my nails done, going shopping or hanging out with my friends. I love traveling to warm places and tanning at the beach. My favorite place I've been is probably Isla Mujeres, Mexico. I also enjoy watching Netflix, especially “Never Have I Ever” and “Grey's Anatomy.” My favorite food is probably steak with mashed potatoes and my favorite color has always been light pink and still is.

Overcoming Difficulties | Facing challenges with an ankle injury, and attending a camp changed freshman Jessica Taylor’s perspective of her life as a gymnast. “I went to a gymnastics camp over the summer with gymnasts from all over the state,” Taylor said. “They encouraged me to not let my ankle injury control what I decide to do, and explained how I should continue gymnastics because it is what I’ve done since I was little and it’s very important to me.”

SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER | Even though it is only her first year on the cheer team, freshman Gwen Peterson expresses her love for the sport.
