The end of an era

Spring sports senior wrap-up
It’s the end of a sports era at North, with senior softball captain Natalie Babcock finishing her final few games, the decades-long streak of Babcocks’ representing the green and gold is coming to a close. Babcock has had a lot of success over the past four years making a couple of playoff runs, but none quite as deep and as memorable as last season.
“Like last year, winning for basketball and softball was just amazing. It was a great experience. And then we got to go to state quarters, that was probably the best,” Babcock said.
As one of the best athletes in the whole school Babcock has improved greatly over the past four years working with her coaches molding her into the player she is now.
“Id probably say the coaches,” Babcock said. “Ive been on the team since I was a freshman, And they have made me grow to where I am today.”
