Hi! My name is Annabelle Julien. I am a junior and the News section editor for North Pointe Now. I am a captain on the varsity volleyball team and have been playing since I was in fourth grade. I am also the newly elected secretary of the Diversity Club here at North. In my free time I love to listen to music. Some of my favorite artists are Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and of course Elliot Smith because I love the instrumental arrangements and clever lyrics they create. I also love reading, and one of my favorite books is “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck .

FAMILY FIRST | Following her brief speech at the podium, North senior Naima Wright invited members of North’s choir to join her at the front of the room. “We have found a tight knit community, some may even say family in many of the extracurricular programs offered at North,” Wright said. “We will be singing the North alma mater to demonstrate the support that not only exists in the performing arts program, but in the Grosse Pointe community as a whole.”
