Kaitlyn Barr, Section Editor
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Barr and I am a senior at Grosse Pointe North. This is my third year in North Pointe and I am the Sports Section Editor. On top of my involvement in North Pointe, I am in Link Crew, am a Freshman Assist mentor, a member in NHS, and I play varsity volleyball and softball for North. In addition to North softball, I play on a travel softball team called Turnin2. I have played softball since I was in kindergarten, and volleyball since I was in third grade. Over the summer I got a job related to softball, where I gave pitching, hitting, and fielding lessons to younger kids. Other than playing sports, I enjoy baking and cooking. My favorite things to bake are cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Recently I have also been into jewelry making. I like making necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. I love to play and go on walks with my dog, Walter. While I am not sure what college I want to go to, I want to major in aerospace engineering and design spacecraft.
