The newest Sims expansion pack, Sims 4 Laundry Pack, comes with country chic items and clothes that can transform the Sims house and warborde to look like it came out of an episode of HGTV’s “Fixer Upper.”

This new pack allows players to decorate the Sims’ homes with a rustic vibe, which can extend to any room in the house especially mudrooms, which are new with this pack. To make the new addition of mudrooms more realistic, laundry bins, cabinets, plants and pull-down ironing boards were introduced. These new options give players more creative freedom to live a luxurious lifestyle.

One downside to this pack is EA only gives players two options for washers and dryers, providing limited variety in a game with seemingly endless options. Although, the colors for all choices are aesthetically pleasing and can match any theme the player wants to make their laundry room. Players do not have to worry about not being able to customize the colors because EA gives great options.

The Sims 4 Laundry expansion pack also offers many new gameplay options to keep the players Sims’ busy, like making sure the clothes they wash are actually clean and not damp. This new feature is a great addition that makes the game more interactive.

Another downside is the lack of clothes this pack offers. While purchasing most expansion packs, players usually get a lot of new clothing options. But in this pack, EA only adds a few country items for each age and gender. This pack does include cute and casual looking hairstyles that correlate perfectly to the laundry theme.

Something new to the Sims 4 that EA recently added, is allowing players to vote for what they wanted in this new pack. The categories were furniture, clothing, hair, wall decorations and the washers and dryers. This was a smart thing for EA to start doing because it allows for players to get items they will actually use and for them to feel more involved in the creation of the expansion pack.

Although gamers were able to vote on which options they wanted in the game, it is disappointing that many of the user favorites were not incorporated.
