Originally located on Harper Ave, St Clair Shores, The Rustic Root Design Co. has relocated to a much larger location at 23165 Greater Mack Ave. in St. Clair Shores. This charming small business offers many services and items such as event designing, custom florals and gifts for loved ones. The Rustic Root Design Co. also offers classes that focus on creating your own plant or flower arrangements. 

Upon entering, I was met with the view of many beautiful plants that accessorized the entire store. The store was extremely spacious and gracefully decorated with their merchandise. There were many different displays that contained a variety of their merchandise separated by topic or use. An example of that was the hot chocolate display which had many unique flavors like lavender, peppermint, mocha, almond and, of course, the classic hot chocolate flavor. My personal favorite section of the store was the area where you can create your own bouquet of flowers. This section had an array of different flowers, fillers and foliage to construct the perfect bouquet that is personal to you. 

The displays were clean as there were no misplaced or broken items in the entire store. Not only were the displays pristine, the rest of the store was spotless and exquisitely organized. There was a very calm and relaxing atmosphere which only added to the picturesque appearance of the store. The warm feeling contrasted with the freezing temperatures outside and made me feel very cozy. I felt very at ease looking around which was a very big deal for me because I often feel overwhelmed while shopping in person.

The merchandise perfectly matched the atmosphere of the store. There were numerous types of candles, which had a wide range of different scents, that would be a perfect gift for anyone in your life. There were a lot of food items like hot chocolate, honey, candy, coffee and anything affiliated with coffee, almonds and so much more. They offered scarves and sweaters which are perfect for the colder seasons that are upon us. They even had a display with plenty of kids toys and apparel which makes the store  perfect for everyone. The prices of their merchandise range tremendously, however, a lot of their items are on the pricier side to match the quality they provide. 

Moving a business to a new location can be very difficult for the owners, employees and even regular customers. There is an endless amount of work that needs to be done when a business must relocate and all that work causes very high stress levels for everyone included in the process. However, despite all the difficulties and strenuous work, The Rustic Root Design Co. has done a magnificent job at transferring the same comforting feeling their old location offered to the new and improved store. The quality of their products, activities, greenery and flowers has not faltered in the least. Attending The Rustic Root Design Co. was a wonderful experience all around and one that I would happily recommend to others. Because of the calming atmosphere, the delightful employees and the huge selection of high quality items, I gladly rate The Rustic Root Design Co. a 5/5.
