The new local brunch place located at 20710 Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe will surely become your new favorite restaurant, offering outstanding customer service, amazing food, and a lovely atmosphere. What used to be a Big Boy now stands the Daily Jam, a new establishment that continues to aim to bring the people of Grosse Pointe together over a delicious and filling meal.

Customer service is not always easy to perfect as a new business, but the Daily Jam has nailed it just within the first few weeks of opening, with their kind hostess who greets you at the door and their amazing waiters and waitresses who were able to help and serve everyone, even at the busiest of times.  Arriving at 9:30 on a Sunday evening, we were still seated at a table, greeted by the server, and promptly received our food after ordering. We were there for about 45 minutes, and each time the server came to the table, they were polite, never made us feel rushed, even in the busy atmosphere, and was eager to recommend different meals throughout their vast menu that included options for brunch, breakfast, and a wide variety of drinks that you could order from their open bar.

A lovely addition to the Daily Jam is the restaurant’s atmosphere. The moment you walked in, it felt warm, thanks to the restaurant’s chic yet cozy decor and wide, open windows that allowed natural sunlight to pour in. Additionally, as a customer, I can state that the Daily Jam is dedicated to keeping its restaurant clean and presentable.    Alongside the excellent customer service, the food was delicious. I ordered the House-Baked French Toast, and it was delectable. It came with two slices of fluffy brioche bread that had swirls of cinnamon throughout and was topped with powdered sugar, as well as optional whipped cream, strawberries, and a side of syrup. Together, it was a magnificent melody of flavors. The French toast itself had the perfect amount of sweetness, the strawberries added a burst of freshness in every bite, and the syrup added nice hints of maple flavor in every bite. 

For a new business, this restaurant already has a promising path to success, including delectable food, delightful staff, and an inviting atmosphere. And for that, we give the Daily Jam a 5 out of 5-star review.
