Girls varsity dance with Amanda Wong

While the dance team hasn’t been perfect this season, facing injuries and challenges, junior Amanda Wong has found strength in the team’s bond. Through every beat and set, they stay in sync, always pushing to give their best.
According to Wong, one of the biggest challenges was when a teammate was injured. The team overcame it by quickly adjusting and staying prepared, ensuring they were ready even when some couldn’t make it to performances.
“When one of our girls got injured, we had to re-block a bunch of dances and when people couldn’t make it to the performances, we all knew what we were doing,” Wong said.
Despite the challenges faced, Wong and the team stay motivated by keeping their focus on the bigger picture, knowing that their best effort is all that matters.
“Just knowing that in the end, it will all work out fine and the audience is like no matter how we do, it is our best and that’s all that matters,” Wong said.
Boys varsity ice hockey with Levi Osley

As the varsity boys hockey season comes to a close, sophomore Levi Osley looks back on a year of growth and looks forward to the promising potential the team holds.
As a key player on the team, Osley drives improvement by setting high expectations and pushing for a deep playoff run, motivating his teammates to stay focused.
“I’d like my teammates to achieve the goals that they want and I hope for our team that we can hopefully go far in the playoffs,” Osley said.
Despite some of the challenges the team has faced such as injuries, Osley believes that the team and coaching staff have responded well to the adversity and tough situations the team had to face.
“I think we respond to tough situations pretty well considering the injuries we’ve had over our season and we’ve been able to bounce back,” Osley said.
