Since I have a Sephora account, I have the ability to choose a free gift in the month of my birthday. Out of seven gift choices including haircare, skincare and perfume, I chose the LANEIGE bundle that includes their Cream Skin toner, Water Bank Cream Moisturizer and their best selling product, the Berry Lip Sleeping Mask. These are all advertised and come in a trial size, a perfect bundle for people who are looking to try something new, but don’t necessarily want to commit to an expensive product. This bundle is only available as the Sephora birthday gift. It is not sold in stores, only the full sizes of these products are.
The toner came in a 25 mL bottle, whereas the original size is 170 mL and sells for $36. It claims to provide “radiant, hydrated glass skin” and looks a lot like the viral Base Face Milk from Ilia. The directions on the box instruct users to apply the toner in both the morning and at night by pouring some of the product onto your hand and patting it onto your face. I have dry skin, but after using the toner, my skin felt glossy, hydrated and bouncy. I have now used this product for a couple weeks and it keeps my skin feeling great all day long. The toner is unscented, so it doesn’t overwhelm you. My only complaint is that the bottle opening is too large, so when I pour too much comes out.
The moisturizer came in a 10 mL pot. The original size is 50 mL and sells for $38, and advertised as giving “intense, long-lasting hydration.” It also is meant to be used in the morning and at night, after the toner. If used conservatively, this little pot could last you a couple of months. A problem I have with a lot of moisturizers is that they are too thick and feel heavy on my face, but this product doesn’t feel nearly as thick as the other ones I’ve tried, so I prefer this moisturizer over a lot of others.
The lip mask came in a 3 gram pot. The normal size is 20 grams and sells for $24. The website says that it “softens lips while delivering intense moisture and antioxidants while you sleep.” With this formula, a little bit goes a long way, so I’ll definitely be able to use it for a while. When I wake up after applying the lip mask, my lips feel soft and hydrated. It makes my lips look glossy and plump too, so I even wear it during the day. Although, with the thick formula, the dead skin on my lips can feel accentuated.
Overall, I’m very glad that I chose this as my birthday gift from Sephora. I will use these products until they are all gone. They make my skin feel and look glossy and hydrated for the whole day. The toner and moisturizer don’t make my makeup look weird on top of them either. My only complaints, the bottle opening on the toner and the feeling of the dead skin on my lips from the lip mask can be easily overlooked, so I made the easy decision to rate this bundle 5 stars. This bundle is available to anyone with a Sephora Account in the month of their birthday in 2025.
