Hey there. My name is Yana and I am currently a freshman at North. Because I’m just starting out as an intern this year, I’m super excited to widen my writing skills as a journalist, and to report on many diverse stories. Aside from North Pointe, I’m also involved with other activities here at North such as Peer-2-Peer, Interact Club, WILLOW, and being a freshman class senator. Besides writing, one of the other creative forms that I love to pour my heart into is baking. I’ve been doing it since I was about 11, and ironically still hunting for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. I cannot wait to commit myself to this wonderful paper, and am looking forward to writing articles you will enjoy.
