Music and the arts are two very important parts of senior Bianca Jason’s life. Art has been one of her passions ever since she was a kid.

“When I was little I always had my hands in some sort of art material.” Jason said. “I’ve been more serious about painting since like 6th grade.”

But painting isn’t the only form Jason enjoys. Over the course of the past few months, she began to play bass in an alternative-indie band with her friends. She also taught herself how to play the ukulele. Even though Jason hasn’t been playing long, she has high hopes for the band, as music is something she wants to do for the rest of her life.

Jason’s mom is her biggest inspiration.

“She’s been there for me, and she’s actually into a lot of the music stuff, so she got me into the arts and everything.”
