  1. The highly anticipated second season of “Stranger Things” was released last Friday, Oct. 27. The critically acclaimed show follows the strange events that take place in Hawkins, Indiana including the disappearance of 10-year-old Will Byers. 2. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next installment, “Thor: Ragnarok,” hits theaters today. It features avenger Thor racing to escape imprisonment across the universe and get back to Asgard, his home planet, to prevent its destruction. The movie received Marvel’s highest score on Rotten Tomatoes, earning a rating of 94 percent fresh.   

 

 

 

 

3. Lady Gaga is headed to Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday  Nov. 7 for her “Joanne World Tour.” Her most recent album, “Joanne,” was released on Oct. 21, 2016 and features singles “Perfect Illusion,” and “Million Reasons.” It was certified platinum On Oct. 23 of this year.

4. The Pistons face the Sacramento Kings tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Little Caesars Arena. The team has had success in their season so far with five wins and three losses. Tickets are available at ticketmaster for as low as $23.

5.  Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated album, “Reputation,” will be released on Friday, Nov. 10, a week from today. Swift’s newest collection of songs is said to represent a break from her traditional good girl persona. The album is available for pre-order on iTunes and  includes singles “Look What You Made Me Do,” “Ready For It,” and “Call It What You Want” among other songs.
