Choir and orchestra perform at Assumption Church

FEELING THE LOVE | Senior Ada Johnson’s takeaway from the night was supporting her friends entering the stage to perform. “The highlight of the concert was definitely getting to just cheer the choirs on after they come onto or off the stage because you can just see each person’s face light up as you cheer them on,” Johnson said.

A WORTHY SETTING | Sophomore Jay’Veion Whiteside enjoyed performing at the church. “It felt really good actually,” Whiteside said. “When you sing it echoes back at you and carries your voice really well.” (Photo credit: Thomas Jones)
HIGH QUALITY | Sophomore Ruta Hailu loved the way their voices sounded in the church. “We started so great, even without mics, which was really cool. Because of the acoustics of the church,” Hailu said.
