Byline Policy

Original stories will carry bylines, although stories rewritten by someone other than the original author will not receive a byline. Contributing writers will be listed at the end of the story.

All articles, graphics, photos, art, columns, pages, reviews, and other material creatively conceived with exception of staff editorials and other work created under special circumstances will be bylined with the producer’s name, and the byline will like to the producer’s staff page.

All bylined writers will be held accountable for their work. Corrections should be sent through a Letter to the Editor.

When more than one person has contributed creatively to a piece of work, any person who has contributed to the work must be bylined as a producer. If a person wasn’t a main writer, however, he or she will be listed at the end of the story as a contributing writer.
