North Pointe Now

Dora Juhasz

Dora Juhasz, News Web Editor

My name is Dora and this is my third year on year North Pointe and my first year as a web section editor for news.

Since second grade, my pen hasn’t left my paper: I’m truly infatuated with writing. Believe it or not, I’m super shy, especially when it comes to new people and new experiences. It’s often tough to express myself verbally, but toss me my pen and paper and I guarantee my thoughts will flow like water.

Other than my passion for writing, I’m obsessed with music, the color red and Johnny Depp. My love of laughter has always been strong, and although I can’t sing for my life, there’s always a song stuck in my head.

I was born in Hungary, and my family and I moved to Grosse Pointe when I was a baby. I speak Hungarian fluently, and regardless of my family’s small size, our love for our culture remains huge.

My biggest goals this year on North Pointe is to help create the best possible website that we can, elevate our articles in our paper and build long-lasting relationships with everyone on staff.
