Amelia Nowicki, Editor-in-Chief

Hi! My name is Amelia Nowicki and I am a senior at Grosse Pointe North High School. At North, I am Co Editor-in-Chief of the North Pointe, a cellist in Concert Orchestra, and a member of the varsity softball team. I am also a member of the National Honors Society and the High School Democrats of America. Outside of school, I have a job at the Big Salad and play travel softball year-round with Stealers Fastpitch 18u.
At home, I have two cats named Calvin and Hobbes, and I love "The Office” and listening to music. My favorite books are "We are the Ants" by Shaun David Hutchinson and "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch, and my favorite movies are “Scott Pilgrim vs the World” and “La La Land.”
