North Pointe Now

Syeda Rizvi is a sophomore at North and has been an editor since her freshmen year. Born and raised in Canada, Rizvi moved to Grosse Pointe in the start of her high school career. Rizvi attended Ellen Fairclough Public School where she graduated as valedictorian and received the high academic achievement award. Outside her academic life, Rizvi participates in a multitude of sports and enjoys reading novels and poetry. She enjoys her studies in foreign languages, is fluent in three, while she has been studying french for seven years. She hopes to travel back to Canada as often as she can to spend time with her friends and family.
