Faces in the Crowd: Freshman Adam Schade

For most, hotels are a temporary home, but for freshman Adam Schade, hotels have provided enjoyment and ideas for future plans.

“I liked going to hotels when I was little. I don’t know why, I just liked them. As I got older, I really thought of going into a job dealing with them,” Schade said.

Stemming from his childhood interest, Schade has drummed up ideas for career he can pursue in the hotel business.

“Like Hilton or Marriott, I would like to start my own company,” Schade said. “You know, have a chain of hotels or something like that.”

For now, Schade enjoys his American favorites, ranging from resorts in Atlanta to New York City. However, he has bigger plans for his future stays.

“There’s some in Africa that are actually in the middle of the Savannah, which are some of the best in the world. So I’d like to go visit one of those,” Schade said. “I’d like to visit other countries and visit some.”
