Netflix released “To All The Boys: Always And Forever” on Friday, Feb. 12. The movie is the third installment of the “To All The Boys” franchise. The franchise stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean Covey and Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky.

The romantic comedy explores the ups and downs of high school decisions and relationships throughout. The acting in the movie is dynamic as it presents the characters as someone the audience feels that they get to know as the story progresses.

The Netflix film follows the choices that Lara Jean has to make regarding her decision 0f where she will go for college and how her decision may affect her relationship with Peter. The movie is very fairytale-like, however it does deal with issues that the average teenager may face in their high school experience and even in their everyday lives. “Always and Forever” gives details to the viewer with great visuals and a good plot throughout the movie. While romantic comedies usually tend to be cliche and predictable, “Always and Forever” gives the audience a small chance to actually guess what will happen next.

The first romantic comedy is the result of a group of love letters that Lara Jean had written in the past to boys who she’d had crushes on. These letters were never meant to be sent out though, and in true rom-com fashion, the two main characters fall in love in the sequel and the threequel. “Always and Forever” follows their journey through an unplanned relationship and the ups and downs that the couple faces personally and romantically.

The threequel does a good job of  following the sequel that was not as good as many had hoped. “Always and Forever” looks like it will be the last of the series, if it follows the number of books the series is based on written by Jenny Han. Nonetheless, if this is the end of the series, the ending is one that leaves many content, and leaves others wondering and wanting more.
