Hey, I'm Kaley! I'm a senior and this is my second year on the North Pointe staff, and so far so good. I write a lot of poetry in my spare time, that's my biggest passion. Writing has been something I've held interest in since as far back as I can remember. As dumb as it sounds, when I was a kid I had a little pocket- sized journal that I carried around everywhere, even before I was able to spell. When I got older, creative writing felt like an escape for me. Gathering my thoughts and hiding them in pretty words turned into a kind of therapy. I decided about a year I want make my passion my career, but first I want to try every type of writing there is before I choose what to go to school for. So that's basically why I'm on the paper this year, to figure out if reporting is the style for me. I hope you enjoy my work, thanks for your time!
