  1. Jailbreak in Haiti leads to 170 inmate search

The recent jailbreak in a prison in Arcahaie, Haiti has lead to a widespread police search for the 170 inmates that fled during this escapade. Police have caught 12 of the 170 prisoners and are searching cars and boats for the remaining escapees. Read more about the issue here.

According to recent ABC News poll released Sunday, Hillary Clinton has taken a 12-point lead over Donald Trump. With the alleged sexual harassment accusations against Trump, Clinton has gained a greater point lead due to more supporters disagreeing with Trump’s views on the treatment of women.   1. Famous political activist, Tom Hayden, dead at 76

At the age of 76, antiwar and civil war advocate Tom Hayden has been found dead on Sunday. He was married to actress Jane Fonda and served on the California Assembly for 18 years. Read more about this famous activist here.

  1. Bill Murray is awarded with Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize

On Sunday, comedian Bill Murray was awarded with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center. Previous recipients of this award have been Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Eddie Murphy. Read more about this here.
